Something I wrote which actually shows a part of me. That's how I see it, anyway.

You asked one night
voice seeming so alive
I wish I could tell you, what's really on my mind...

But, I don't...

I don't see the flutter of wings like you
I don't seek the answers that you long for
I don't see the beauty of the morning dew
I don't see the water ever letting the shore breathe,

So, I sigh and hear it sigh along

Your eyes they shined,
light of the rainbow reflected by a glass
seen through a microscope
Oh, how I wanted to confide,
in you,

only you
How I wanted to fill you
with my dreams and my thin strand of hope

But, I don't...

I don't believe shine make beautiful
I don't believe beautiful make truth
I don't believe truth make love
