What for?

What for?

A Poem by Alani
"

misunderstandings within a relationship can lead to frustration

"

Give me what I need or I’m sure I’ll explode

And then you never really saw when I chose to implode

My sporadic fits of rage tore the link between us

You thought I had lost my mind and wanted to live in plush

Did you ever wonder what the symbolism was?

A ring, a cake and flowers wasn’t just because.

Companionship and real intimacy

I didn’t care about it traditionally

But then you took to apron strings again.

Misunderstandings seem to happen at a rapid pace, understanding takes time. This poem hurt today as I get it, I know the feeling. You expressed it so very good in this poem, it is shame you had to. I enjoyed this today.
