Broken Weight

Broken Weight

A Poem by Heavenswriter

My weight is not my personality
My weight is not my soul
or voice
My weight is one that holds me down
not by choice
I am not what everybody sees
on my outside
I try just as hard as you
to lose weight as well
You can never see it
You spend too much time
telling jokes
because of ones appearance
I must not carry this weight around
I am determined to lose weight
not because of your choice
because of one sheer of determination
motivation
power
I am not motivated by tears
jokes
laughter
I am motivated by love of family
love of self
love of health
love of self worth
To you of all of those
that cry alone in the dark
For you of all of those
who has not a friend to listen
For you of all of those
that people tend to stare at
Sincerely yours
