Lost.

Lost.

A Poem by johnnyqueer

Fear found in tiny places,
Within the cracks of mentality.
Will you cradle me as I suffer?
Plunging into depths unknown,
Will I ever be found again?

Will my lips ever taste bliss?
I don't know how long I can stay,
But I'll fight until I've lost.
Weaponry of mass destruction,
Just my mind, and I.

I'd gladly break away from this,
Live amongst the mediocre.
I could end this battle
Just by acquiring a script,
But I'm too stubborn.

D****t Johnny,
this one is golden.
The timid darkness in the beginning blossoms into a warrior song by the end. Every line slaps the reader right in the mouth.

first three lines are my favorites....they just have this tone....like earnest, yet mischievous at the same time.

Solid work.

Give stubbornness a reason to self-destruct. There's a silvery flow to this that I like.

" Weaponry of mass destruction,
Just my mind, and I."

I found myself repeating these two lines because they stood out and did prove to be the stem of reason for this poem. To me, the title was misleading after reading this. You did beautifully.
