Where Did You Go?

Where Did You Go?

A Poem by Alice-chan
"

To the boy who had my heart, and then disappeared.

"

Where did you go?

Where did he go?

Where did the boy I love go?

Where is the boy who fenced?

Who skateboarded?

Who drew?

I miss you drawings.

I miss your aimless doodles.

I miss the way that,

When I drew,

You always encouraged me.

Where is the boy

Who used to hide behind his shaggy hair?

Who used to smile for no good reason?

Who used to make you smile right back?

Where the hell did he go?

Is he buried inside of you,

Just dying to get out?

Is he long dead,

Because you killed him for popularity?

Or was he

Never

There

At all?

I wish I could have him back,

I could free him,

But only you can do that.

Maybe people change,

But I still love

The boy

Who taught me to draw.

Very pretty and perceptive. We've all had friends who've changed. I'm sure we've all in some way been that friend who changed.
