Intersect

A meeting of minds...

Unbeknownst to me

and even to you,

our lives would intersect.

I was travelling the right,

the slow hand lane

and your life was speeding

fast on the left,

when, one day at a light

red stopped for both,

and looking over

our glances happened to cross

at the last minute,

locking eyes before

green to go.

I sped up,

and you slowed down,

so,

our lives could intersect

I've never read anything quite like this before, my mind is spinning and twirling in a thousand directions. Did you actually come up with this on the road, or watching cars, or was it something that just occured to you one day? I think at the moments when your glances met is when the imagery really came flooding in for me, atleast. I loved the whol piece though, really. Every line opened up a new picture for my mind to see. Gorgeous work.
