Digital Camera

A Poem by Laura Pruett

One eye open, glaring
Click! The world stands still
Turn the dial to see more clearly
Even in the dark

Lift my lid to blind your eyes
With the light that I produce
Smile, smile, I’ll steal your soul
And keep it in my bin

Shut my eye, I’ll sleep for now
Please put my cover on
And when you want to reminisce
Come see what I have done

You have described it perfectly! I loved this, it was cute! I liked how you wrote it from the camera's point of view. Almost as if the camera was happy for it's users in what it could do for them!
Great Poem! :)
