Never Ending Pain

My stomach aches with fear.

Afraid and indulge myself with booze and beer.

Trying  so hard to ignore it

Tears fall leaving a noticable smear

 

My eyes hurt, close shut with weary.

Shutting out what and who seems responsible

For my never ending pain.

Finding out and realizing it all been from me

 

Sippin’ drinks down faster

Than a shooting star in the sky.

Knockin’ that glass down

Pushing that fear further to drown

 

Waking up that morning

Jim comes flyin up

Swingin’ at full force.

Never even giving a two second warning
