How about a Smile?

How about a Smile?

A Poem by Alison Williamson
"

A simple poem about how much importance I believe love has on the world.

"
The Steady Beat.
Needed, constant, everlasting.
Fluctuations are key but predicted; important but natural.

Warmth and Comfort.
Guests of The Steady Beat, friends even.
Happily they enter as the rhythm increases tempo; increases in power.
However always remaining steady, Consistent.

It's simple isn't it?

These are the three factors.
The only ones required for Love to blossom
into its own.
Lovely. Pretty. Gorgeous.
All descriptions of this simple rhythm. This simple human nature.

Love is simply intricate and easily complicated.
The beautifully contorted gears that control life.
The one thing that allows these three friends to join,
to become one again, and allow these fluctuations to produce the greatest thing in
this entire twisted universe.

The tiniest curve of those lips.
A beam willed to form.
A lifetime goal for many of us on this planet. A wish we bestow to give our most cherished.
A simple Smile.
