Waiting Needs

Waiting Needs

A Poem by Alissa Marie Unknown

She waits for his return
hoping he'd give her what
she needs. Love, happiness,
completeness, and all the things
she has longed to be.

A purpose in life that seemed
to make her complete vanished like
the air we breath. A pain she bared
and took it out in the worst way indeed,
torn by the worlds' means to destroy the
thing she thought would never leave.

Upon her return, she came to see the
love never left just her mind was not
at ease. Now not complete she folded
to a world of sleep. Her way back a simple
little ease of her miracle child that she
needed to see.

After the man she thought she knew
who turned out to be like all the others
she's come and gone passed she forced
herself to move to something she did not
need.

The person she used to be was no longer seen,
an exiled b***h in a world she did not care to see,
a zombie she became to only do what she needed
by day and destroy by night.

Now regaining himself she still remains in a void
for secrets and mistrust still rings loud throughout her
messed up world.

Only if time could change her soul she could
not feel like the world was against her life
and what she was before.
