I thought we had a connection

Something very strong

But now it's all over

I guess I was wrong...

 

I thought of you today

and yesterday as well

To know that you hate me

I guess we'll never do..

 

The memories come to me like a steel magnet

I try my best to stay away

but I can't hide from them forever

I guess I should tell the truth

and let you hear my thoughts..

 

"I wish I could see you,

I wish you knew my life,

I wish you could be there to catch me when I fall...

but I know that you hate me and

don't care at all..."

So 'til this day I mope around

and wonder on and on again

Why do you underestimate me?

Why did you have to kill my heart

Why can't I show you that I am the one?

How did we get to this day without a single word?

 

You say I'm worth nothing and that you don't care,

but the pain and love in your eyes lets me know I'm still there

Another dreadful day appears and not another word is said

I wish you could know
