Past Life

Past Life

A Poem by Alysa

I feel as if I have known you in a past life,

Your warmth surrounding me like something familiar.

My heart swells in my chest when I see you,

My voice quivers when I speak your name.

You look into my eyes like no other man or boy can,

Your hand brushes away wisps of hair in my face.

I don't dare to look into your eyes,

Love had hurt me in the past.

When your hands stroke my cheeks,

My eyes close and memories flow into my mind.

I see a boy who looks similar to you,

You are stroking someone elses face like you are doing to me.

In the distance, I see your fingers touch my lips- feel them on my lips,

My eyes finally open and I look into your eyes.

You have your eyes closed and you sigh,

Then softly, you whisper, "I love you..."

I felt like I just stepped into a part of your dream. There was something musical and dance like to this. It was almost like a play or something, but I guess I'm too tired to making those kind of judgments right now aha. This was beautiful, and the three words at the end that everyone dies to hear rapped up the poem beautifully.

I'm just going to say that I was looking forward to more of your rhyme schemes you did in your previous poetry. xD

Beautiful, sweet, and romantic. The imagery was perfect and vivid in my mind. Fantastic. =D

Wow, very well done. Another unique feeling when you encounter a past life object, person, energy, or place is a spiritual orange glow to things mildly. More of an energy sensation created, you vision becomes somewhat loose, as your mind takes in a new stimulent it forgoten. This mind is new, ever learning, the memories imprint onto the soul, the soul remember vague details, some that had lots of emotion tied to them. Very well expressed.
