A Story by Amanda Surry
"

This is my first time writing anything that wasn't required of me in school. I do not keep a journal. This is just a test of my self expression

"
You're damaged goods. It takes a real Belle to see the beauty in something so broken. Sometimes you look for the elbow grease to pull yourself forward but all you find is a stain. A stain you could have prevented by simply staying still. But who likes to sit still? Isn't life already still enough?

Very short text with a very complex imagery. The comparisons are original and enriching. I sure want to see more of your writing.
