Reminiscence for an Inamorata

Reminiscence for an Inamorata

A Poem by AmatusNimbus
"

Relatable, brief poem about heart break.

"
Diamonds embraced in silver,
I knew all too well these words would kill her.
Wish I had asked myself why.
Determined if this curtesy was right for the job.
Where each incision lands in place,
softest lips ever,
The most heart breaking face.
Blue eyes cascade.
Makeup stained fabrics,
as to never let what was forgotten go.
A promise to never let go.

This is a simple poem I jotted down on my iPod a few months ago. An inamorata is someone that a person is passionate about or loves.
I believe that this is pretty self explanatory.

I love how your words and flow completely make me sigh in a mesmerized pleasure at reading a piece about a heartbreak. That's talent in my opinion. =) I really enjoy poetry that can say much in visions, while the words are few. Great Ink!
