I used to be like this... Unable to say what I'm feeling or thinking.
My defense mechanism would either cause my mind to go blank when I'm about to let someone in or I'd trip out and never get out into words what I need to say. Ever caught me crying or bleeding I'd most likely never explain why... just come back with long sleeves and a smile.
Until a couple of months ago.
But I've been spiraling back into my old habits and I can feel myself shutting down again.
Hiding my thoughts and emotions from the world... the ones who love me... the one I love.
It's sad really.
Good write though.
