Sole Nemesis

Sole Nemesis

A Poem by PaperMush

Notice my sharp eyes
Look into my soul
I despise where you wander
I loathe what you are now
You never learned your lessons
My head could detonate
For accumulating every lump of your misery
You act victorious with the sun in your face
But in your bed,I try to nurse your wounds
Keep asking for salvation
Still wasting your tomorrows
I have a pair of soft hands
But they might assault you anytime
You know I love you
My years dragged on by your side
I cried your tears and taught you to laugh
Until you stabbed me again
You delivered me to your frailties
I can't go on
I do nothing better
Because you repose in the void
You won't get back on your feet
My fist goes straight to the mirror every time
Hoping at best that I could destroy you
