Incomplete………The Fallen Angel

Incomplete………The Fallen Angel

A Poem by Arielle Ann

A lovely maiden with those deep brown eyes,

Her eyes searching as the clouds sweep by

The raindrops wiping her tear strewn face

Helpless eyes, gazing on for the new morn ahead

So naive a virgin, yet with a life gone astray

Tomorrow seeming miles from today

Life a pain, the words fail to say

Only the saltiness of her tears streaming away

Sitting on the cold hard floor, her head resting by the window sill

A lifeless corpse today still

Her heart crying out but the parched lips dry

Only silence till darkness passes by

Who will heed to her plea for aid

Is silent hope better than words unsaid???

lucid expressions that carry the heavy burden of a gamut of emotions .. I could visualize with the character being portrayed here and look at the world through her eyes .. Nicely done !

Really good verse here and showed great insight into the depth of emotions you put into this poem and kind of thinking you put in. If you dont mind my asking what inspireed this idea?
