Fading letters ~ the sonnet.

I stare long and hard

Letters dance and fade,

I gaze longer and harder

Letters wane and disappear!

I think long and hard

Thoughts jumble and clutter,

I reflect longer and harder

Thoughts ebb and disappear!

I contemplate long and hard

Resolutions muddle and falter,

I muse longer and harder

Choices fade and wither!

 

So ponder not too long, else you shall waver

Do what you want, now and forever.
