Dandelion

Dandelion

A Poem by Amy

With a big deep breath and a childlike blow,

A wish comes straight from the heart.

Oh Dandelion…. Let go!

So our cares can be cast into the warm gentle air

Like tiny white parachutes floating on nothing but care.

The journey will be the ups and the downs, the spins of the winds,

The topsy and turvy, that’s where the dandelion has been.

The wish remains attached to the fluffy little thread.

Soon with patience and time the seed will fall onto a luscious green bed.

In no time at all, a little green sprout.

As sure as can be and without any doubt,

A beautiful yellow flower opened right after that cool summer shower.

What more can we ask then this one little wish,

For the beauty in nature to continue to exist.

For this fluffy dandelion ready to set free upon another crazy adventure

Wished by you or me.
