Stupid Mosquito

Stupid Mosquito

A Poem by Amy

The heat intense and too hot to near.

Quite relentless, you are with little fear.

Buzz around the dancing flames, inticed by its warm embrace.

You stupid little nothing, the pain that you inflict.

I'm just an innocent bystander with blood that's oh so thick.

Can you taste it now? Does your thirst turn into lust?

I envy your desire, your pursuit never ending, wavering, or pretending.

Stupid little w***e, from one man to the next.

Go ahead, continue this oh so precious dance.

That little flickering light, funny how it caught your eye.

Can't help but chuckle with a little wave goodbye.

Stupid little bug, it has no blood, no remorse, no love.

Only wings petrified.

Amy
I was challenged to write a poem about the first thing that came to mind. Time limit: 5 minutes. This is an edited version of what I came up with. Though edited, my vision remained the same. Please let me know what you think.

This is a cute write. Though, I would have clenched my muscle to pin it there and watch it burst. : Yet that is too morbid. You let him live so yay! haha

Interesting.
