nukes.
New dark
actors
emerge,
hide.
Hide
in the
shadows.
Writing
code.
Humanity,
face planted
to the
vehicles
of their
demise.
Freedoms
lost.
Mind control
flowing
straight
to the
soul.
Unwitting
army’s
forming
ranks.
Zombies
programmed,
following
orders.
Dutifully
enraged.
Fabric
of humanity
unraveling.
Ripping
apart.
Unscrupulous
dark forces
controlling
it all.

spot on ... a little here and bit there .. an "Oh that's not so bad .. go ahead!" .. darkness is the material world's playground ... it even has a name. I am old .. and watched for decades personal freedoms slipping and even given away believing the montage of insipid manipulations .. In the USA we have the vote .. seems in the end ... it really doesn't matter .. just another lie we believe makes us free .. perhaps the tools of darkness ... but he is a liar and the father of lies .. the darkness will never win in the end .. it isn't even allowed into the ring for there to be a battle ... so we aare subject to assault and easy targets for deceit. Welcome to the Cafe' Mr. Prophet! I noticed your avatar and moniker on my news feed. "The Prophet" by Kahlil Gibran back in the 60s became very popular .. so I had to stop to read some of your "stuff" .. peace brother!

Where there is power there is corruption. Depressing state the world is in and you have identified in your striking poetry layout (a bit like a sword) where some of the problems are. Yes there are dark forces and they are everywhere.

dark forces have been a part of life as the waves have been a part of the sea. those with morals are easily offended and for good reason. if those dark forces could turn the world in another direction for a substantial profit and the power to control the tides they'd do it.
