Antidot3

Antidot3

A Poem by John Prophet

Antidote.
Infection.
Mind
virus.
Spreading
globally.
Wildfire!
Sailing
through
clouds of
diversion,
delusion.
Infecting
all who
look,
partake.
Insidious
virus.
Penetrating.
Coursing
through
heart,
mind and
soul.
Gripping
ever
tighter.
Frenzied
addiction.
Breaking
addiction.
Difficult
withdrawal.
Put it
down.
Walk away.
Find
peace/cure
with
nature.
Prolonged
exposure.
Quiet,
serenity
required.
Ocean’s
rolling
surf.
Lake’s
soothing
splashes.
Mountain’s
soaring
vistas,
wind
driven
snows.
Wood’s
chirping
crickets,
bullfrogs
and
birds.
Immersed.
Let
nature
suck
out the
toxins.
Work
its magic.
Be wiser
for the
experience.

Another one in this poet's inimitable minimalist style. I don't know if this one refers to an actual virus or the wild course of our current times. Whatever, the suggested cure is a solid one. Get away from it all! Get back to nature and let it detox you. Get far enough away so you won't be exposed to the next poll.
