Because I know that

Buried by the ego of your rights and my wrongs

And 

Drowned in the sorrows of today and tomorrow

Under that mechanically wired brain of your's

And 

Beneath that thick skin etched with scars 

Rests an enormous heart;

Who hopes to be held in my arms 

Whose every memory spells my name 

And when it lies alone in the dark

It travels to that day back in time 

When all around were only smiles 

When What mattered in the whole world
