"Among The Clouds -- I Touched..."

I close my eyes and see
  the skies... and taste the wishes
    yet again - of whim and fancy,
      the feel of "wings" and dragon's scales
        and little things long left ago...

and open them once more to be
  where I am now -- lost among the
    memories of people, places, and moments
      I'll never touch but always feel...
