"The Face of Man..." -colab Laury and Chris

·I awoke this morning -

·followed the sunrise with painted thoughts

and found I didn't wonder anymore

·the wheres I'd been - nor the whys.

·All the eyes crusted dry with life dust

·stared

·through my window

·my "glass"

·into

my world

my life

·into me...

·forming not a picture within the painted lines,

·but rather a collage if one may of colored thoughts ,

·albeit by the blood red running thru ,

·and over their panes to my soul

·defining Me as not so much as an absence of living,

·But an awakening of a thought in a

·Mind of transition

·I still see each memory

·...and now as the breath slowly trundles ,

·forth

·the echoes flow and float -

above, below

·...through and through -- each whisper shouts

·another name and place

·another where I'm from

·a time, a day, a way, a life begun and lost

·an end awaiting the face of God

·...the touch of

·peace ...

·we never knew.

·

·Remembrances ,

· The ins and outs,

· So many forevers and doubts

·How it now reveals

Walked Hand in Hand .,

the many paths less trod,

passing quietly , never looking back,

on the one less traveled beside.

It sounds wonderful to find such tranquility and sense of perspective. The inversion of punctuation intrigues me, it kind of gives me a sense of going backwards - could it be the memories you have lived with that shaped who you are now?

Good insight!
Diiscovered you on the path to learning more of Emma Joy. I'd appreciate your
looking at some of my work...not with the purpose of hearing praise...but criticism.
I do get a lot of the praise, but desperately need some real criticism. You are
one that I would respect! Thanks.

Only if you then request it. In your case, I'd be very nervous.

What a wonderful piece.

Life should not be full of regrets. We carry on the best we can, wanting more, wanting the best. But every moment of life is a gift, especially the lows that teach us, and shape us.

Regards to you and Laury on a touching and eye-opening work of art.

Time past has its shadows and lights, all to be held precious because there comes a point that who you are is what you've thought and done, been and felt.. and every bit of it wraps the spirit around like the warmest, truest blanket. And then .. then there's no need to balance this or that because life's what it is, and, all's well. Two incredible yous you are, sharing the same warmth and truth superbly.

There are special lines but diplomacy prevails!
