Chilled fingertips.  Eyes gazing to the glass.  So many "voices" jostling to become distinct - heard... felt.  Known.  My mind is meandering all over the place... saw some people I hadn't touched in a while.  I'm breathing and thinking...

"Hi  - Do you have" ...coffee... or tea now?  Have I caught you on the "run"?  Have a minute or a day?

Hmm.. I like it but this is more difficult than it seems. Then again maybe I'm just over-thinking it. I did like the, "So many "voices" jostling to become distinct - heard... felt. Known." I sometimes get this when I'm alone, in a quiet place, close my eyes and relax. It's a jumble of faces, places, "things" - I swear, some I've never seen before. The mind... a strange and wondrous thing. That's my insight; such as it is.

the lenghts we go to...but as a casual thought why did they even ever go THERE the first time? Was it in a revenge mode to somehow get back at a person someone felt slighted by?

and thinking more...AFTER KNOWING the where and how...people STILL paid a higher price and called it... nectar?

Yes, the only thing I can make out of it is... that it is almost certain there are much stranger minds in the universe than mine; assuming it is mine and all that rot.

Yes, perhaps that's true. But, there are times when it seem totally unnecessary - the being there that is. Many would say, "It's just not the same." But then someone drags out an old philosophy harangue and then it becomes quite apparent that there indeed may be something to "being there" because of how much one wishes one wasn't.

so few see more than they want to see - even when they really DO KNOW what they actually ARE seeing. Walking away isn't the issue - it's how some ever survive.

Survive is an awesome word... the mere implication of the ensuing struggles; why that's enough to inspire an entire universe to empty it's bladder.
