Just giving up, it's not really that bad....

When someone gives up, do you tend get mad?

Do you think to yourself, "They're not worth it, they're weak"?

Forgetting the times you were submissive and meek.

We who are human, have hundreds of flaws,

From those who are selfish, to those who break laws

We have all given up, one time or another,

We knew we were beaten, we lost to the other

We walked away strong, we left it behind

It sat in our brain, it lurked in our mind

Feeling weak, feeling beaten, we've all had that feeling

We tried to leave it alone, let time do the healing

At some point in time, the wound has vanished

The heavy feeling we had, from us its been banished

Then some other gives up, and heads for the gate

We curse at them loud, we fail to relate
