The First Love Letter

How hard is it to make a love letter?

Pages flip, left, right
Hold the pen not too tight
Lost ink? Pencil's turn
Light majestic movements, I need to learn

The tip meets the sheet
It dances as if it had feet
Twirl, twirl, no! just in case
Twirl, twirl, no! erase

"Sincerely"?, "Love"?, "Truly Yours"?
Oh! "Your Friend" of course!
Sign my name... oh, sheesh
My pencil broke! goodness, please!

Whew! Wipe the dropping sweat
Hug it first, short prayer

Into the envelope, seal, all set

God, that took forever!

I've never written a love letter yet. I tried to imagine myself writing my first and came up with this poem. Comments please? :)
