Sadness of love

Sadness of love

A Poem by A. Fiorillo

They say don't be a martyr
But You'd really rather cry
You stop yourself
Just for a moment
As you ask and wonder why

Why You feel this sadness
Why You feel such pain
Why the absence of his beating heart
Is driving you insane

You've called him into dreams
Where You see his shining smile
You pray he'll see you pass him by
As You're counting every mile

And as You begin to ponder
Allow your energy to subside
Your Heart will pray for right direction
While Your soul prays by his side.

Your word choices show you are an intelligent person with deep concerns for emotional and spiritual well being. This makes your poems very relatable and easy to read and a pleasure to do so.

This is beautiful. Absolutely amazing. You say you write romantically well by golly you do. Wonderful emotion. Stellar. Any more adjectives? Idk. I write romantically as well so this hit a good nerve. Nice.
