Sleep

Sleep

A Poem by AndrejPro

I want to sleep. Not copulate. Only to lay under the covers in absolute intimacy. To rest close to each other with the windows left ajar. To feel the brisk air suave through the atmosphere of the room. And with every gentle breeze, submerge ourselves deeper into the soft plush covers. I want to rest in awe, and to shift ourselves into a different world. To tune our ears to a different tune; to block out the world. With only the moonlight along the sides of our faces and the crisp air around us, to wrap our arms around each other and drift off into our own reality, as our tender eyelids slowly decline and give out.
