Hell

Hell

A Poem by Andrew Flisser

Don’t see why I bother,

Always up.

Expecting a call.

Just a little contact.

But my hopes are ripped from me.

I ask for a few things.

But the lord he does not deliver.

I find myself bound by the chains of hell,

As the fire slowly devours me,

Every inch slowly melting away.

Until the pain slowly starts to fade.

I can’t feel anymore.

And it’s that moment I can see that,

Nothing really matters.

That I was never bound at all.

That every second I was put through that hell.

I chose to stand it.

I chose to be caged off.

But no more.

The day is new.

And it brings better things.

How true. We have the option in sticking with a painful situation or turning our bodies and running away as fast from the hurt as we can..unfortunately I was not fast enough and he nearly killed me..I was left permanently disables..If it hurts,,It is not love..God bless..Valentine
