School of life

School of life

A Poem by Jack Baird

Me?  He says
The school of life

I didn't get to graduate
Or wear a black and flapping cape

I bought myself a flatter cap
And found the way without a map

My arguments are not researched
I'll snap your academic perch!

Oh sorry son, I'm just a moan
I know you're in the year below
