Mother

Mother

A Poem by John

Mother dearest,

I know you tried,

to chip and mould

away my lies.

And though I can't

ever find the words,

I'm sorry that I

made you hurt.

And though we never

will be the same,

I'll always remember,

you gave me my name.

And though our paths

have led us apart,

you'll always have

a place in my heart.
