reminds me of the quote "All angels and Devils we " and here you appeal to the angel despite the ever present devil in the subjects nature. Nicely done and was noted below would make a nice song .

Such a tender offering . . . and so lonely in its giving. What a beautiful, heartbreaking melody this must sound like. It is courageous to stand before one with anger written all over them and just know that protected inside is that little angel who needs you so much.

It's powerful, and I really like the tone and the message behind it, but the repetition of that one bit is just a little overdone-- something about it I don't like. Perhaps if you didn't keep the exact same thing so often, perhaps changing up a line in it or two.

Perhaps you could do that once, but then make,

"That makes you so appealing" or something, just change it up some-- keep our interest.

Wow, this was really powerful. The first part was angelic in itself. Then when the lines discribing more off the physical longing for someone came in...I could see those little angel eyes peeping through, and the reader wanted to see into them. Or at least I did. Maybe the angels have the answers to all of life's and loves problems. to bad we can't ask them directly.
