A Tear is Worth More than a Picture

A Tear is Worth More than a Picture

A Poem by Angelus Fortitudo

They say a picture is worth a thousand words
But what kind of words do they speak?
I've wondered, if their words are even honest
For how could a photo contain a soul?
Or even speak those thousand words

These tears...
The flow is constant, even when they go unseen
Even though no one hears them
They speak in volumes
For what could be louder than a silent scream

Asking you for just a moment, to look beneath and see me

And figure our the reason for my tears
To learn if they are from sorrow or joy
