Fate

Fate

A Poem by Ian Hammond
"

Another middle school poem.

"
With my head pounding hard
I am Forced to pick a Card
One depicts a great Clear Fate
The other-it appears I'm too late
This World Burns to the ground
Not a Soul to be Found
Not even mine, If I even had one
Just think, this World is much More
Fun

Years go by, Ruins Decay
I'm Alone, I face the Price I have to
Pay
My "Life" it seems, is oh so
Boring
The Blood like a Waterfall,
Pouring
From the bloody Ashes, People arise
They look confused, look to the Skies
I look back, Pain in my eyes
For I am sure they all, once again,
Shall Die
