The Coming Strom

The Coming Strom

A Poem by Angel Marie
"

is it all for love?

"

She stood there in the pouring rain

As the preacher rose his hand to god

Spoke like he was a good friend

Standing there in black with tears in her eyes

Holding on to the memories

Sweet memories

Wanting him in her arms tonight

And lighting fills the sky

As the ground swallows him

And buries  him alive

At least in her eyes

As life becomes so blured

She can not see

Nothing is real anymore

As she pounds the Earth

Where he once was

Lighting fills the sky

On her hands and knees

Trying to dig him free

Six feet more just to save him

But only in her eyes

Is he still alive

Fighting for his next breath

Thunder claps and lighting flashes

Wind builds and the storm progresses

Digging into mud like a fool

HIgh on love and low on life

Going no where fast and

Crying her eyes out in the storm

Giving up she lays there

Waiting for the lighting to struck her

She can't go on

With out her baby boy

As lighting passes through her veins

And the world is calm

She lays upon his grave

                         dead to the world

And in tomorrow's light, I am still me. I dance in the rain like I'm a fool, and sing as loud as the Heavens are high. I see all sides of the rubix cube, and think spray paint is the right way to solv.. more..
