Anxiety

a personal battle

Breathing hard

blood coursing at lightening speed

 lips and fingertips begin to buzz

vicious circle

chasing my tale

miseries  can't escape

   round and round trying to capture one

Elusively  slipping through my teeth

Adrenaline circles nipping at my heels

Can't shake it loose

 continue to twirl

Shudder spin, shudder spin

This is a perfect description of anxiety, I can almost feel an anxiety attack coming on just reading this! I have anxiety and panic attacks and take prescriptions for it, so I know all about this feeling! Great poem

It does leave us dizzy in all the emotion doesn't it...Running thoughts devouring our sense of reality, and tossing out rationality to paranoia... You captured this feeling very well...
