Writer's block

Writer's block

A Poem by Girl With A Pen
"

What I do when I have writer's block

"
Some music in the morning
My coffee is filled up
I want to start writing
But writer's block sucks

A sip of my coffee
The music turned up
My mind draws a blank
I trace the design on my cup

Sitting at my computer desk
Staring at the  screen
It's making me sick
The worst I've seen

An idea
An experience I've been through
Looking around
There's no where I've been to

It's getting late
And my coffees' gone cold
I'll have to leave
And write experiences of my own

When I first started writing poetry/writing at all I would frequently get writers block ,and honesty I went in phases where I had tricked myself into thinking I had lost all of my talents as a writer. Anyways this poem really explained how f*****g scary writers block is for a young writer. Good job.

Love that. I think it is cool how you turned writer's block into an experience. :)

Oh, that writer's block is a terrible thing, isn't it? A brilliant take in countering that tricky little beast by actually writing about it. A wonderful job done.
