I heard about the tattoo

Even before you told me

The weight of the world on your shoulders

You had our symbol etched into your skin

So I will always be with you in spirit

You carry me on your back

Because you know I’ve got your back

I heard it looks like wings

Because I was your salvation

And your sacrifice

You are not the only one who is scarred
