Everlasting brevity

Very fleeting and sweet

Always short and I never want to let go

Never wanting to be without you in sight

Everlasting hope in you, my sweet

See me? I am who I am, scars, bruises, and all

Can you accept me and smile? I am in awe.

Even if I cannot last you forever?

Nothing would please me more than to know that you were still there.

Come between us? Nothing. Forgive me heaven because that means you too.

Even if I must conquer hell to that make that dream come true.
