A poem that tells a true story

There are many kinds of people
There are those who paint the world with colorful optimism
There are those who feel alone, those who feel unequal
Which results in a cloud of pessimism
There are those who were born a star
And those who are only the pedestals to true heroes
Those who are millions of worlds apart
And those who stay near us
There are those who are gold
And those born tarnished
There are those whose stories remain untold
And those who completely vanished
But in the end of it all
We realize life is a gamble
