An Old Scab

An Old Scab

A Poem by AngeloRosell

I sing with the soul

So all can be heard

Slow to the start

But I sing from the heart

To remove the pain

Built up over time

The world deserves to know

Feel that ach

From the stem of the root

Release the thought

Once and for all

Clench it tight

And yank it right out

Stare it down

And look around

To know where you stand

A human being

With power and intent

Create and manifest

All that you desire

This place is mine

But it’s found inside you

I absolutely love the last two lines of this. Very startling and thought provoking. Did you mean to leave the e off ach? or is it a typo? Very well done!
