Psychotic Butterflies

Psychotic Butterflies

A Poem by Kendra

Look upon me in shrouded mystery.
Alight the flame that allies my game.
Do not judge that which is not yours.
If you do so, you lose both battle and war.

Deny the cost of easy thoughts.
Little white lies easily bought.
Hand me downs in a world of words..
flying free as demon white birds.

Stand in my presence and look about this
chaos of love, deception, and bliss.
I care not of your greed, hate, and assuming taste.
Only of what once made your cold hearted base.

Show me on the green screen what you truly wish.
Ask me any question; for mine is an open dish.
I will not lie and fill you with deviance,
simply put my words will leave you in decadence.

I have loved and lost.
Cared, and been crossed.
These make me who I am..though I know not of whom that is.
Could I show you with my kiss?

The love I feel and these fluttering things inside?
The way my heart..dismantles. With you I abide.
I ask only that you give me the same in return.
If not, then I wish these bridges will not burn
