Take Root Love...

This was found among the writings of my youth and It had a seed of hope so I tended it and rewrote it and it is a spring...poem indeed.

Take root love, plow deep into my soul .

Spring forth , be here now, then, and forever more.

Take root love, right in the center of my split heart,

for it is there where the flesh is tender and ready to grow the

sweetest of fruits.

I shall water and tend thee well.

Take root love and lift your self above the surface of my soul,

So all might see, that I tend and grow love most carefully.

Wow! This is a beautiful write....the words are so cleverly thought out...and this one brought a lump to my throat....nothing more beautiful than love...
and yeah, it has a nurturing feel to it...with the use of the "Take root...." lines..

This is good. I like how you acknowledge the fact that once its planted you still have to tend it and water it. Life won't give you a gift if it knows you won't take care of it. Nice poem.

God Ms Walsh what a lovely thing to say..
oh dear love i know there is no where more you can grow
i want to harbor you so you may not vanish for good
i will water you and tend to you so you may never go
so you may grow and grow ..i will give you my lands to take origins
and like being planted ,i give you my heart to nourish and get big
i want you to rise from the crack of a fading heart thats mine
i will be proud they all say it came from that way
i want you green again ,lovely again ,and shiny again and again
i want you to start all over again ..take roots from me
even if its to my demise nourish and feed from me..but never die
this land of mine will sacrifice everything so you may live again..again
