Still Be Yourself

Simple as possible...

I ne'er to quit count
the hours, the days, the months,
or exact years that it has taken me
to get to where I am habilitate now.
I had a fondness to be a part of life,
so I was constantly sedulous.

I ne'er awaited to be told
I couldn't, I shouldn't, or I wouldn't
become the person that I am today
I trust in doing the best
and I hoped the things would turn out all right.

I revamp my dreams
or changed my life to make things
easier or smoother or even less complicated
I kept myself going straight ahead
day after day... month after month... year after year...
until I reached this point in time and discovered
how happy I've been being myself.
