Heart of gold

Heart of gold

A Poem by Thisismythearpy
"

Like I always say, I'm not a writer. This is just therapy. Everything I post is pulled un-edited from the muddled lines of a notebook I kept when I ran away jumping between state parks.

"
You say I've got a heart of gold but that tired line is getting old.
If I had a heart of gold it surely would have been sold.

It'll pay for for bottles of medicine,
to un-do every evil sin.

The ones that slowly made me fall.
But hey, at least I gave my all.

Heart of gold, veins of black.
Realize there's no going back.

For now I'll live in chemical dependency.
So if you ask, that's what happened to me.

About
Hello, my name is Chris. I just post the stuff I wrote in my notebook when I ran away home a little while ago when trying to run away from depression, ptsd, and what all caused it all. I'm dead inside.. more..
