Patchwork quilt

Patchwork quilt

A Poem by Thisismythearpy
"

Everything I publish comes from an old notebook I kept when I ran away from home. Deep and personal.

"
Piece by piece you fall apart.
Parts are lost, but you have to restart.

Gather what you can, ask for a hand.
Try to execute a master plan.

Grab life by the hilt, and stitch yourself together like a quilt.

Maybe parts don't match,
but there's a story with every patch.

Every stitch a separate memory,
or maybe a dream of what you hope to be.

So be a quilt, showing everyone how the pieces can be pulled together and re-built.

Some parts may not be pretty, some may be sad.
But sometimes you can make good from the bad.

Patch your life up.
I wish you luck.

I'm not a real writer, this is just a coping mechanism. Everything I publish comes from an old notebook I kept when I ran away from home.
