Life saver

Life saver

A Poem by Thisismythearpy
"

Save a life, get left behind.

"
Say I saved your life
Say it to my face
Tell me again how I put you in a better place

Then let me replay the memory of how you wouldn't stay

How you lied and confused me with a game
Or maybe you didn't lie, but have you tried comprehending with my brain?

I don't understand
It's hard to walk this land

If you say you struggled with the same illness as me
It shouldn't have been hard to see

I had turned into an illness, not a man
It always seemed you would understand

In the end we didn't see eye to eye
To this day my brain tells me to die

Through sadness, through health
may we someday join together in emotional wealth
I can't keep craving hanging out with a belt

I was only here to help

I am not a real writer, but I do appreciate feedback. All my poems come from a muddled notebook I kept when I ran away from home after a series of traumatic experiences which I am still struggling with to this day.
