Quit smoking

Quit smoking

A Poem by Thisismythearpy
"

Why I started smoking, and then quit.

"
Trying to smoke away the pain
Distraction for your brain

Thinking of when you'll have your next smoke
Instead of thinking of why you broke

So light up

Watch the smoke curl through the sky
Paying five dollars a day to help you die

A throat on fire
Adding to your funeral pyre

I stopped digging my own grave
Call me brave
But I got tired of dying this way
